I'm a New Mexican photographer and cinematographer. I’ve had a camera in my hands since high school where I first learned darkroom photography and fell in love with the process.  Today I continue to shoot primarily on 35mm film, drawn to the honesty of it—the way film doesn’t let you hide from your mistakes. Every frame costs something, which makes you slow down, think deeper, and truly see what you’re capturing. In a world of snap-and-go cell phone photos, I love the intention and discipline that film demands.

As a cinematographer with a Bachelor of Science in Digital Filmmaking, I’m drawn to shaping light and mood to create feeling on screen. With a background in lighting and live production as well, I feel at place anywhere I'm creating images, stills or motion.

I love being outdoors and chasing adventure—snowboarding, climbing, mountain biking, hiking—and I bring my camera everywhere I go. For me, it’s all about documenting the wild, the fleeting, and the moments that make you feel something.
